This came up in a game today.

A group of medium sword impetuous have an enemy within charge distance.

The commander spends 3 CP to move them instead of charging. They do not move their entire move distance. Page 45 says "any" maneuver other than a charge costs 3 CP

However page 34 says that a short move by unmaneuverable troops costs "one additional CP"

I think the short move still costs 3 CP though. This is consistent with the lack of stacking of other difficult maneuver costs as well as the use of the word "any"

Is there disagreement with this?

The later page rule overrides the earlier rule.
So 3 cp max.

I believe the three CP cost replaces whatever cost the maneuver would otherwise count as. I think 3 CP is the maximum cost of any action.
