hi all,just wanted to clarify:
1 defending in mountains, can i take 2 wooded steep hills and a wood, or would that contravene the only 2 of each type of terrain rule?
2 defending in plain, can the mandatory field be on top of a hill? ie only one piece picked.
3 if a coast or river is placed, does this affect the 3 items on one side rule? ie is the terrain considered in both halves of the table. |

1 You may take this. You are actually selecting two steep hills and a wood. Then you are putting cover on the hills. That is a different thing.
2 no for several reasons. First the compulsory is a field. Not a hill. Also p 74, left last sentence.
3 Yes, but it is equal on each side, so the net effect is zero. Note rule is "3 or more than the other side" (p75, right 4th bullet) |

Just for completeness.
Q1 answer is on p71 middle of first paragraph on the right.
"Adding cover does not affect the number of available terrain pieces " _________________ Player 747 don't call me Jumbo |
