Shouldn’t the start date for this list be pushed back to at least 480 AD?
In 489 the Bulgars allied with Zeno’s Byzantines and attacked the Goths. In 499 and 502 AD they fought against Anastasius’ Byzantines.
Then there’s the revolt of Vitalian and his Bulgar foederates which overran Thrace in 514-515 AD and got to the walls of Constantinople twice.
Finally the Bulgar invasion of Macedonia in 517 AD was defeated and the Bulgars seen off for a decade or so.

Considering all the wooden barricades and trenches King Krum built throughout the mountains during the Pliska campaign of 811 AD (including the famous one that sealed the pass at the Battle of Pliska), shouldn’t the Bulgars be allowed some fortifications in 811 AD? Clearly they knew how to build these and built many. Perhaps 0-6 Fortifications in the 680-851 AD period or just extend the period Fortifications are allowed from the current Before 680 AD to Before 852 AD.

Also, why must the nobles be Impetuous during the Pliska campaign? They studiously avoided battle prior to the Battle of Pliska and during the battle cautiously waited in ambush throughout the day until Krum sprung the ambush. Now Impetuous troops can avoid uncontrolled charges if in ambush, but their performance just seems more like Cavalry Bow than Cavalry Impetuous.
