I hope this finds everyone well.
We've yet again had a little issue confirming our venue, but we are happy to announce that Schiltron 2024 will take place over the weekend of 23rd & 24th March 2024.
All the details are set out below.

Dates and venue: 23rd & 24th March 2024 at the Beancross & Newlands Community Centre, Montgomery Street, Grangemouth, Scotland FK3 8QR
Please note our usual midday start.

Maximum number of players: As many as want to play, it's a decent sized hall and we've got plenty of tables.
Number of rounds: 5 games - 3 on the Saturday and 2 on the Sunday. Please meet for 12pm and we'll start as soon after that as possible.
Format: 200 points, single list.
Scale: 15 mm
Theme: The Roman Empire – Rise and Fall. The armies of Rome and those who fought them.
Any army from those listed below. All allies must be from the same lists.

Special procedures: Version 4 of the rules, with any FAQs or Amendments issued prior to the dates.
1st round pairing: No club matchups in two 2 games, Swiss chess thereafter.
Dice will be provided, and only these dice to be used.

The cost will be £30, which will include lunch and tea/coffee and soft drinks on both days

Armies of the Roman Empire and those who fought them. 

List deadline is end of play on 9th March, a month from today.


In an attempt to increase the variety of armies entered, we will limited Roman Armies (83-88 inc) to 3 entries per list, and armies 89-106, 108-110 and 112-114 to 2 entries per list.

Armies 107, 111 and all those under Ancient Asia are not allowed as is the Sabir option of 110.
