The Italian Wargame Federation is pleased to announce the World Individual Championship, this year with the premiere addition of the competition also for the Renaissance rulebook edited by Simon Leray Mayer , which will be published in another post.

DATE : Rome June 21-23, 2024

WHERE : Hotel Mercure Rome Leonardo Da Vinci Airport https://mercureromeleonardodavinciairport.it/
The Hotel is located a few minutes by cab from Leonardo da Vinci Airport , in the town of Fiumicino.

THEME : all army lists.

MATCHES : 6 games of 2 1/2 hours.

1 match : Friday, June 21 starting at 18.00, random pairing according to arrival.

3 matches on Saturday, starting at 09.00 a.m.

2 matches on Sunday starting at 8:30 a.m.

PRIZE GIVING ON SUNDAY SCHEDULED FOR 3 P.M.

A minimum of 7 rounds must be completed.
Blitz will be used in order to complete at least 7 rounds. 3 minutes to move, and fighting excluded.

SPECIAL RULES:
This year it was thought to make a change to the normal formula to encourage players to think of different armies with new approaches to the game.

Each player must submit a double version of the same list, and each game players will choose one of these.

List A must have at least one general included
List B must have at least one unreliable/allied general.

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THE USE OF DICE TOWER OR DICE CUP

Late list: If a player submits his list late, the referee may penalize the player by giving him 10 penalty points on the tournament score.

DICE will be provided by the Fiw.
TERRAIN are available while supplies last.
No 3d grounds can be used.
Those who wish may use their own playing mats.


PRIZES: Podium cups, prize for most Generals Captured, prize for most Fields Looted, 200 pt. painted Adlg Army by drawing, board games and other by drawing prizes from our supporters.
