…95. Gepids are different as all other German tribes using javelimen instead of bowmen. But using the army lists of DBMM there are bowmen used as skirmishers. Also under DBA there are volley shooting bowmen. But there are Burgundi using javelinmen. What is correct???

This is ADLG... the ADLG lists presumably use different research

Well, let's voir...
Opening the rulebook at list n°95, I can see skirmisher as bowmen. It's in heruls opion they are made javelinmen.
I don't think there's historic studies about weaponry of germanics lights troops in early dark ages, but i can be wrong...

So do i.
Imagine a indien with elephants, it's not a very rare situation. You only have to dismount CV to medium foot impetuous armored, with javelinmen, and CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!

...seems to be a grecsit mistake. In the english version the javelinmen obtion applies for Gepid only. i just have to use the english translation...
