|
If this question seems strange, it might be because I just started looking at the rules.
Is the Cv +1 combat bonus against LMI and MI swords equivalent to "Cv always has Impact against LMI and MI swordsmen"?
I find the latter to be a simpler conception than another special case.
The only difference I can come up with is the odd case where, say, LMI attacks Cv in the flank, but can only partially conform. Therefore Cv retains its basic factors, including the bonus for fighting LMI. However it would lose any Impact special ability.
But I'm not convinced it should keep the bonus in this situation anyway... |

No impact also gives furious charge, and cavalry do not automatically get this against MI, they have it v LMI javelin and archers only |

Nevermind. Although the Cv bonus is "as if" they have Impact, non-impetuous/non-impact Cv does not cancel its targets Impact bonus. |
