|
As part of a series of ongoing Samurai Civil War games (on TTS - as I am still recovering at home from my heart operation ) we are getting into a number of new scenarios/situations and one came up the other day, that we think we played correctly.
1). two units have destroyed an enemy unit - one hit it frontally, the other in its flank. This occurred in the opponents game turn. Behind the destroyed unit (in effect in column) is another unit from its own side (it therefore suffers a Disruption as the destroyed friendly unit routes through it).
2). in the next turn (the winning players turn) the unit that destroyed the one to its front charges the now disrupted enemy unit.
3). but this leaves the other winning unit, in corner to corner contact with the enemy unit that is being charged (but it is now facing the flank of its own charging friendly unit).
The question was one about conforming - initially we thought that the unit in corner to corner contact could conform (for free?) into the flank of the enemy unit being charged. However, as it was not behind the flank of the enemy unit, we felt that this was not right. Therefore we opted to allow it to turn and conform into an overlap to the friendly unit that was charging.
Hopefully that all makes sense - but have we got this right?
Thanks
