|
A unit of Impetuous Cavalry charges a unit of Medium Spear frontally. Their impact is cancelled. But they win the melee - do they still benefit from furious charge?
Would the answer change if the cavalry were fighting a unit in rough terrain causing them to lose their "impact ability"?
The FAQ discussion of +1 bonus for mounted vs MI or LMI may be instructive. Even if Impact cavalry lose their impact they do not gain the +1 fighting MI or LMI as they are still impact cavalry. |

The cav lose the impact bonus vs spearmen but not the capability therefore they still have furious charge.
In terrain mounted lose impact capability so lose impact bonus AND furious charge. |

Unit has furious charge list
does not loose ability if negated.
does loose if it terrain that penalizes it.
All is clear? |
