Leviticus and Lamas
As the green shoots of Spring appear at the bottom of the garden, so our hopes turn to autumn and a return to gaming as we know it.
Where would October be without L’Bayart? Undaunted by Covid, the competition still ran in 2020, albeit with a reduced but exceedingly high quality field.
Surely, it will run this year? After taking much feedback and dismissing most of it, I can now announce the details.
15mm Art de La Guerre rules - 200 points, 5 games (3 Sat, 2 Sunday) This year’s theme will be ‘Leviticus and Lamas’. Any army from the Ancient Period in V3 rule book PLUS The Americas section. (Yes V4 may affect things slightly, or not)
There will be a limit of 2 players per army. Lowest ranked players will be given preference in the event of an army being oversubscribed.
Cost will be £30 to include 2 slap up pub lunches of generally high quality. It is also hoped the Paul Johnston memorial meal on Saturday night can proceed this year.
In an exciting and innovative move, there will be a new prize this year for Best Camp! All aspects from historical to humerous will be considered.
What better place than Robin Hood’s Bay, Whitby and the North York Moors to take the missus or partner away for a weekend and give them 2 whole days of freedom to do exactly as they wish?
