Pré dark age période is large. Maybe you could try late romans, its à really Nice army and pleasant to play.
I have build some differents lists in 300 points for this army,. You have à large choice of troups, so multiple combinaisons. (sorry for m'y poor english) |

| Maybe you can try Patrician Roman if you want a very nice and efficient army to play. All Chinese army list are very interesting too in 300 points |
