For knights, it says "From 1085"
Is there a troop line missing from this list? (like an earlier period of Impetuous heavy cavalry or something?)
I find it very hard to believe that from 1050 to 1084, nobody in France was riding a horse to battle.

I believe that no-one went hungry in that period however ... so perhaps ... !

| Yeah something went wrong here. The previous list is #154 "Later Franks" which does indeed end at 1049AD and has loads of HC Impetuous. I suspect this list should have gone to 1084AD and that the previous list is a holdover from V3 when it contained HC in an earlier period. |
