In today's game two forms of this issue came up.
A unit of heavy infantry was half in and half out of a field with the front edge entirely clear. (the rear half of the unit was in the field) Does it exert a ZoC from its front edge?
And even more confusingly
A different unit of heavy infantry had its right half in the field and its left half out in the clear. Does the half of the unit in the clear have a ZoC?
