| Can a defender put heavy troops in any ambushes he has set up in the flank areas that are more than 7 UD forward? I can't see anything that says otherwise.... |

I did this for the first time the other day, 4 HI and a second ambush if 2 bowmen just behind a hill crest, flank zone, centre table.
On one hand it didn’t work as my opponent refused that flank. But on the other hand I won the battle. And I would do similar again as it was very confusing for the opponent- and that’s maybe “half the battle “! |
