We're delighted to be able to announce that the BHGS will again be running a team event in London. For 2022 we will be working with the SELWG club to stage the BHGS Historical Teams events alongside their SELWG show in the familiar venue of the Lee Valley Leisure Centre.

All entrants will benefit from free entry to the SELWG show on Sunday 16th October as part of their entry fee.

At the BHGS Teams this year the event will run in the following format :

Format : Teams of 3
Scale : 15mm + 25mm (2 pools 15mm, 1 pool 25mm)
Rounds : 5 (3 Saturday + 2 Sunday)
Event Timings:
Day 1 : Game 1 09:30 - 12:00, Game 2 13:45 - 15:15, Game 3 15:30 - 18:00
Day 2: Game 4 10:00 - 12:30, Game 5 14:00 - 16:30 (allowing time to visit SELWG

Permitted Lists :
Pool 1, 25mm : Pack Your Trunk: Any list, at least one Elephant must be taken
Pool 2, 15mm, Pack Yous Tiny Trunks: Any list, at least two Elephants must be taken
Pool 3, 15mm, What Marius Did Next, The Roman World : Lists must be drawn from the following list and valid between 107-100BC

With Britcon now out of the way, this is the next upcoming BHGS tournament of the year - teams of 3, with 2x15mm and 1x25mm players

Paul Johnston has kindly volunteered to list-check for the BHGS Teams ADLG event this year, so can team captains please collate the lists for their 3 players and send them together to Paul at paul@navigatorpr.com by October 1st. We currently have 6 teams so will be able to run a full round-robin event this year.

We've also now been told that the venue will be opening a catering point for us on Saturday (as well as on Sunday when the SELWG show is open) so there "should" be no need to bring your own sandwiches along.

Game Timings will be:

Day 1 : Game 1 09:30 - 12:00, Game 2 13:45 - 15:15, Game 3 15:30 - 18:00 As there won't be much else going on at the venue on Saturday, if we all finish any rounds early we will try and start the subsequent rounds a bit sooner.

Day 2: Game 4 10:00 - 12:30, Game 5 14:00 - 16:30 allowing time to visit SELWG (which is kinda why we are there)
