|
Good morning
We had a doubt on how to get out of a ZOC in the following situation:
Two medium cavalry units CM "A" and "B" are in the ZOC of two enemy units "C" and "D".
MC"A" has his enemy ("C") on his right flank and MC"B" has him on his front ("D"). "D" does not do ZoC over "A".
The questions are:
if the two "CMs" want to get out of these ZOCs,
will they have to make two different rolls?
What would be the direction of evasion of each?
Can they evade as a group in a single direction?
Thanks for the answers.

Each unit identifies its Most Threatening Enemy (MTE) in accordance with the rules.
If both MC have the same MTE then they can evade as a group if they form a legal group. If they are not a legal group they will make separate evade moves as each evading unit’s movement will be different. Â
If each MC has a different MTE, they must make separate evade moves. The direction of the evade move will be determined by the MTE’s front edge. |

I think a group can exit even if not all elements are in the ZoC. I think this would extend to elements being in different ZoC's, so long as they all reorient in the same direction. But I agree threats on different axes would mean separate exiting groups. |

Not exactly, if each MC has a different MTE, but makes move in the same direction, they may remain in group. _________________ "Quand on a pas de technique, faut y aller à la zob"
