May a unit move into an unfortified camp in order to loot it or must it be a charge?

Page 66 says that a camp is an enemy unit without a ZOC.

I ask because today I had a unit move to prevent my camp from being looted. My opponent could not legally charge the camp because of my unit, but that is because a charge only allows for a slide or a wheel at the beginning. He had enough movement to reach it and I was not exerting a ZOC on him so it would have been possible for him to move around me to get to it.

To loot it you have to attack it in melee. (P 66.) Unless you can conform into it or move into a support position, you can only contact enemy by a charge.

How do you conform to a 2UD x 3UD camp?-)

If there was a defender next to the camp and it routs or breaks off, then you might conform into the camp later.

Camps must be charged.

Units that charge a camp will conform to nearest corner to corner contact. p 50, 3rd bullet

I am not exactly sure I am following you about the incidental contact.

Say a unit is fighting another unit which is adjacent to the camp. Does this mean the corner to corner contact is sufficient to sack it? And during the melee against the other unit?

It must be "ättacked" so no incidental.
