|
The question first:
Can a unit charge (A) the front of an enemy unit (B) that has no ZoC (because it is an ART, a WWG, LI in open or any other reason) if during the conformation after the contact enter the ZoC of another unit (C)
Notes:
A does not enter the ZoC of C during the charge move, only during conformation.
B cannot considered the most threatening unit because has no zoc.
in p.50 explicitely mention the prohibition of charging on the flank of an enemy if entering a zoc during conformation and the need of respecting the zoc of the most threatening enemy during a conformation.
So ,what to do?
- Dont allow the charge?
- Partial conformation
- Full conformation
I apologize for my English an thankyou in advance. |

p35
right column
Movements allowed in a ZOC
"(including when conforming)"
p 50 also says you must conform to most threatening.
Charge is not allowed. |

Could a heavy unit charge an enemy LI that must evade thereby preventing the heavy unit from having to conform into the ZOC? |

If a unit never enters the most threatening zone and a ZOC, then we are talking about a different issue. |
