Yet one more example of rules I have been playing wrong I think.
How many CP does it take for a unit with an included general or genral fighting in melee to disengage from combat?
Page 28 6th bullet and page 26 both say that the only exemption from the +1 CP rule if the general is engaged is a rally attempt.
So it seems to me that if an included general disengages that he must pay 1 CP (or 2 if unmaneuverable) for the basic move, +1 for general in combat and then -1 for the generals free CP
I'm probably the only one doing this wrong though.... |

Yes, general pays +1 to disengage if engaged in combat. |

You pay an extra +1 CP because the commander is fighting.
That is 2 CP.
Yes one may be the commander's intrinsic 1 CP. But it still takes an additional CP from the die roll. |
