Dear AdlG friends,

the German Teams AdlG-tournament 2024 will be held in Braubach on November 9th and 10th (Saturday and Sunday).

Like last time (German Open, April 2024), the gymnasium of Braubach’s sports club will be our venue (Stiftstr. 1, 56338 Braubach).

Following a fine tradition, we will meet at the Pizzeria Laguna on Friday evening before the tournament for a meal and to toast the tournament. We will meet on Friday, November 8th from 6:30 p.m. Please tell us with your registration whether you would like to attend, so that we can accordingly reserve a table.

At the beginning of November unfortunately some hotels in Braubach itself will be closed. However, the Hotel Café Maaß (https://www.hotelmaass.de/cafe-maass) in Braubach has reserved 6 rooms for the participants in our tournament. When booking, please refer to the keyword “Strategen” (strategists). This booking is not possible via online portals such as booking.com. If necessary, please book your room directly at Café Maaß (+49 / 2627 – 588). These reservations will be held until August 12th, 2024. So please make bookings by this date.

Last but not least, we have an urgent request:
Please refrain from bringing your miniatures and terrain into the hall in metal boxes and placing them on the floor. After the last tournament we noticed deep scratch marks on the gymnasium floor in various places, which were definitely caused during the tournament. The scratches most probably result from the movement of metal boxes.
The repair costs are not insignificant and if there was a similar damage again, unfortunately we would probably no longer be able to use the gymnasium in the future.

Date: Saturday, November 9th, 2024, 9:00 a.m., to Sunday, November 10th, 2024, 5:00 p.m.

Location: TV Braubach Gymnasium, Stiftstr. 1, 56338 Braubach

Maximum number of players: 36 (12 teams of three players)

Rules: L'Art de la Guerre, 4th Edition

Figure scale: 15/18mm

List specifications:
Ancient (armies up to 476 AD),
Dark Ages (armies 477–1049 AD; no knights are allowed in this era),
Middle Ages (armies from 1050 AD).
There are no geographical restrictions; American armies in particular are welcome.
Each team has to cover each era with one player.

Army size: 200 points.

Terrain:
Please bring with you next to figures, measuring sticks, rules, etc., also the terrain pieces that are relevant to you, in any case the mandatory terrain pieces of your own army's home terrain.

Play surfaces:
If available, please also bring play surfaces (cloths and/or mats) and let us know how many.

Dice:
Dice are provided.
The use of cups or dice towers is mandatory.

Number of games: 5 (3 games on Saturday, 2 games on Sunday)

Playing time: 2.5 hours max. per game. At least 7 rounds must be played unless a decision is reached beforehand. “Blitz” moves will have to be played otherwise.

Participation fee: € 75 per team. As usual, we collect the participation fee on site.

Snacks, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), lunch:
are available in the gym kitchen during the tournament (and included in the entry fee).

Players of German teams have the opportunity to register until July 28th, 2024, after which date we will offer remaining places to international teams (first come, first served).

The registration must contain the following data:
- Team name
- Names, ADLG player ID and club of the players
- Era attended by the respective players
- Number of play boards/mats/cloths you will bring with you.

List check:
Please send us your final tournament lists by email (see above) by Sunday, October 20th, 2024 for checking. Please be sure to use the official format for the army list, which is available free of charge on the ADLG homepage (Excel document “Spreadsheet”). Please also
enter your player ID, your name and a specific year for which your army is set up in the list.

Pre tournament: When you register, please let us know whether you want to be there on Friday evening (November 8th, 2024) from 6:30 p.m in the Laguna and, if so, with how many people.
