Whats a Haan?
Haan is a small town near Düsseldorf which here and there played a little role in historical events
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haan
I´d like to hint towards the participacion in the battle of Worringen
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Worringen
Where ANYONE approaching the „Bergische Bauern“ without being one of them, made a bad decision.
The clostest castle and home oft he Duke of Berg, where the archbishop of colgne took accomodation for a while….

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engelbert_II_of_Berg
Unfortunately the castle will be closed due to extended renovations, maybe next year.
Looking forward to see you, best regards
