Ladies and Gentlemen and everybody else,

We are delighted to inform you that this year Cht’is tournament will be held on 13th and 14th of September 2025.

Sadly, the hall we have this year is smaller than the usual hall so the number of players will be limited and we will not be able to have a diner there on Saturday evening. But the most important is that the tournament can be held there !
This hall is the « Maison des Association », Place Saint-Auguste 62880 Vendin-le-Vieil (just next to the Lidl superstore).

This year will be an individual, 200-point armies, tournament.
The theme is the Antiquity, army lists 1 to 123. The ally (if any) must be from this list (1 to 123).

More details :

Theme : antiquity, lists 1 to 123. The ally must be from there too.
Only 2 lists per army will be allowed (so an army list cannot be played by more than 2 players)

5 games, each will last 2,5 hours with 7 turns minimum. Blitz to reach 7 turns if required after 2,5 hours.
The decision of the umpire are binding

5 games : the first 3 will be played with a fog of war (both players deploy their armies simultaneously behind a partition). The last 2 games will be standard games.

Figure scale : 15mm. The miniatures must correctly represent the type of troop and the army must be fully painted
Dice and terrain elements : dice will be supplied ; players should bring their own conform terrain elements (in shape and size). The umpire may deny a terrain element he sees as not conform

As usual, there will be challenges :
the Attila Challenge will reward the player who has taken the most ennemy baggage
the Achilles Challenge will reward the player who has killed the most ennemy generals
the Pyrrhic Challenge will reward the player who has lost the most (of its own) generals
the Dagobert Challenge will reward the player who has lost the most baggage
the Picasso Challenge will reward the player with the nicest army (painting quality, originality).


Saturday’s Schedule
Door opening at 7:30
Breakfast from 7:30 to 8:30
1st game from 9:00 to 11:30
Lunch from 11:30 to 12:30
2nd game from 13:00 to 15:30
3rd game from 15:45 to 18:15
Apéro at 18:30
If people are interested, a diner in a restaurant can be organised

Sunday’s schedule
Opening and breakfast from 8:00 to 9:00
4th game from 9:00 to 11:30
Lunch from 11:30 to 12:30
5th game from 12:30 to 15:00
Results & rewards at 16:00

If you need traveling advice or help, do not hesitate to ask!
For instance, i'd strongly suggest to stay in Béthune (easy to get to by car or train): it has one of the nicest town center (ask Siri) with lots of pubs. And it's just 30' away from the tournament.

Did I mention that there are several interesting WWI memorials (from different countries) and a local antenna of Le Louvres museum (entry is free for half of it) very close to the tournament ?

Entry fee is 38EUR. This includes breakfast and lunch on both days as well as coffee during the weekend. Softs and beers will be sold during the weekend.
For those interested, we will go to a local restaurant on Saturday evening.

As we have been doing for quite some time now, you can buy tickets for our raffle !
A few years ago, a bald player was lucky enough to win... a hair-dryer !
