Hi Guys,
Hopefully a simple question; when is an ambush discovered if it is placed in a gully?
1. When the discovering unit gets within 1 UD of the gully edge?
2. When the discovering unit gets within 1 UD of the ambush marker?

| It's a weird one. By page 77 "Discovering an ambush" bullet 5, as soon as you are within 1 UD of the edge. The only thing different than hiding behind a hill, village, plantation, or wood is that you are inside a terrain and do not have to worry about LOS, see page 77 "Dis..." bullet 7. |

P. 77 2nd bullet: “An enemy has a clear line of sight to the marker.â€
Once you get to 1 UD from the edge of the gully you must reveal the ambush. |
