P 83 allows up to 2 allies in 300 pt games. Does this allow you to take the same ally twice or do you have to have 2 different allies? (I don’t think any lists explicitly allow for taking duplicate of the same ally).

As it’s a list checking question and there is nothing in the rulebook, I suppose it’s down to the list checker to take a call…

…however, were I the list checker I’d probably ask what sequence of words (which appear to be missing from the rulebook) lead you to believe that taking two allied contingents from the same list would be routinely allowed (other than in the case of those exceptions specifically noted in the army lists)? ?
