|
Just to be sure; When resolving a melee, first the quality modifiers apply, then all other modifiers and factors (impact, support, disorder, terrain, etc.) - we have a result (win - loss or tie) and THEN the abilities of 2HW and Armour are considered to increase or reduce the final outcome - do I get it right? |

Yes you are right. First quality, then modificators, then 2HW and armour and furious charge.

Thanx for the answer - one thing more, for I want to be dead sure - Armour, 2HW and Furious Charge are calculated AFTER the initial resolving of the melee? For example if 2 units fight each other and after the die roll and all the modifiers applied the result is A=6 vs B=5 - A wins the melee - if B has the armour ability THEN AND ONLY THEN the 5 becomes a 6, so no cohesion losses for B? |

And another (maybe silly) question (just to test your patience ) - the CinC spends 2 CP's to add +1 to the die roll of an unreliable commander to force him to join in - this happens BEFORE or AFTER the initial ally's die roll? |

No Worries.
During your first turn, you begin with testing your allied/unreliable general.
Should he be unreliable after the dreaded "1", you activate the other two corps for the turn.
Then, from the second turn, you can start with your CiC if you want, to give 2 pips to get a +1 to your unreliable general. You move your CiC's corps, then you try to activate another corps. If you want to take care of the unreliable one, you can, and he will be reliable on a 5+.
Cheers
