Another question from our first game.

Page 67. Defender places the compulsory terrain item in their own half of the table. Is this anywhere in their own half, or is it restricted in any way?

I would have thought that the compulsory terrain is required to be placed randomly on the defender's side of the table (i.e. there are only three possible placement zones, as opposed to six).

The compulsary terrain is placed randomly on the table, the same way as other terrain... It was in the V2 that the compulsary terrain had to be placed in the defender's side.

The village (if defender roll a 4+) can be placed on defender's side lateral zone.

I'm with Soranon on this one. When I met Herve in London, he told us to get rid of the " on his side of the table"part.

btw, I'm compiling a list of typos/weird /odd things in the English version. If yiu ever see something that might fit, just tell me, I'll look into it.

Page 69 of the English version, third bullet point says "defender places the compulsory element on its own side of the table". Is this text not included in the French version?

Ok....that is simply a missprint? Just to make it clear for german mind...

The compulsary is placed first and randomly like every other terrain. Than the defender places all his selections randomly than the attacker places all his selections randomly and then the attacker may move/remove terrain and then the defender move/remove terrain?

Did I get it right?
