I live near Austin, TX -- hope to get some interest going here.

I've fortunately been to both Paris FR and Paris TX.

You wouldn't believe how cool Paris TX is.

Very Happy

Have also been to Paris TN. They have a miniature Eifel Tower.

I went to my local hobby shop (Great Hall Games in Austin) and muddled through my first game.

It was a very enjoyable experience. The two guys that played with me seemed to like the rules despite me not being really ready to lead them through it.

We ran the Byzantine - Justinian list vs the Sassanid Persians.

I've already identified a couple of mistakes we made in the rules -- but in general a good time was had by all.
