Does it cost an unmaneuverable unit 0,1,or 2 CP to conform with an enemy it is in side edge to side edge contact with?

P. 55 suggest it costs zero CP.

P. 32 suggests any maneuver involving a quarter or half turn with such units is difficult.

I think the answer is zero as such a maneuver is considered a conform and not a movement but always want to check...

If you have a unit flank-to-flank with a ennemy unit the conforming is cp-free il the ennemy isn't in melee. Il not you have to pay 1 or 2 cp depend if your unit is manoeuvrable or not.
So if you are flank-to-flank with an ennemy and you can and want charge him, it's better to free-conform first then to charge. You save cp.

If a unit is side edge to side edge with a ennemy fighting in melee on front, so the unit is only on support and doesn't have to conform.
The unit can move to outflanking (not sure of translation) , by paying AP dépending of mouving unit.
IF no unit is fighting the ennemy, it's a free conformation.
