Does an ambush have to be placed in coomad of his corrosponding general?

If yes, does the command distance has to be corrospondent to the troop typ placed in ambush?

Meaning a med swordsmen has to be placed in 4 MU to his ordinary general if placed in a plantation in ambush. par example....

Units placed in ambush do not have to be under the command range of their commanding general.
But deliberate set units outside command range means increased command and control problems...

Hmm, i thought i read something about ambushes and placing them in command, but maybe confused with other rules.

But indeed, placing the ambush not in commanddistance means additional commandpoints for moving them to generals wish.

AH...yep, that was the words I remembered....I think I have to search the corrospondend page in the book and the come back again if I cant find the clue....thx for the hint!

Page 71, Deploying Army Corps, Sequence of Deploying, 2nd Bulletpoint/Absatz

....All units belonging to the same corps (even if in ambush) must be deployed inside a rectangular zone and must be in command rang of their commander.

Guess this makes it clear: an ambush must be in command!

That helps a lot to see in advance which troops may hide in ambush or even if their can be any troops in ambush.
