The rules state that an unreliable command in ambush does not become active until an enemy unit is within one UD of the ambush marker.

However the rules also state that an ambush can be revealed at any time during the your turn or anytime during the opponents turn if the opponent moves withing 4UD.

Can an unreliable command reveal an ambush when an enemy gets within 4UD of the ambush and thus become reliable (or presumably do the reveal before his first turn command die roll and thus never run the risk of becoming unreliable).

The rules on revealing ambushes place no restrictions on being reliable. But doing this seems cheesy, so perhaps it has just been overlooked.

Even if your unreliable command has some units concealed in an ambush, you cannot reveal them unitl your command is again reliable, i.e. even if the ennemy come close to 4UD
If any ennemy move reveal one of unreliable unit, coming at 1 UD the entiere command is considered as relliable.
