Obviously myself and the guys I have played with have missed the routing part that only units directly behind and within 1UD suffer a cohesion point loss. We had been playing it adjacent also suffer a cohesion loss, it has been only our third game. It seems odd that units fighting next to a friendly unit are unaffected by it routing neighbours. Is it only units behind and within 1UD affect by routs?
Expendables it does not clearly say that routing expendables do not effect friendly, how most of you play it when an expendable routs? |

A unit who's neighbours rout will probably be overlapped, and may be vulnerable to a flank charge.
That's pretty bad..... _________________ www.madaxeman.com |

As Tim says, the only unit(s) affected are those that are in the 1UD footprint to the rear of the routing unit.
Where this occurs in the centre of a line, as Tim says, the victorious unit already provides support to both sides giving the neighbouring units +1 to their combats without moving. This is already quite a significant advantage.
Where the victorious unit advances into the gap, it can then turn on the flank of an enemy unit potentially having a much greater impact. Note you can only Pursue in your own turn.
Basically this is often the first step towards creating overlaps in an enemy line, and flank attacks are usually very deadly under these rules. |

It's clairly said unit not causing routing: artillery and war wagons. Li only cause routing to LI.
So expendables cause routing. be care in use of yours schyted chariot! _________________ "Quand on a pas de technique, faut y aller à la zob"
