Impact, p17. The 2nd dot point states that the impact ability of foot does not apply against charging mounted troops with impact. The 3rd states that heavy spearmen and pikemen keep their impact ability while canceling that of charging mounted.

The 3rd dot point applies specific characteristics so overrides the 2nd? P14 (description of heavy spearmen and pikemen) supports this.

Appreciate the views of more experienced ADLG players.

The heavy spearmen and Pikemen get the impact bonus against cavalry while the cavalry loose they impact bonus but keep furious charge if they win.

As far as we played it, the spearmen and pikemen only keep their impact against the cav if they get charged. if they charge by their own they dont get the impactadvantage?

Confirms my view that heavy spears and pikes do not lose impact when charged by impact cavalry (who do lose their impact).
