Group of four impetuous and and two non-impetuous medium foot charge a group that evades. You roll up and go long. The Impetuous MI must go 4 UD What are the options for the Non-impetuous foot?
1 Advance 1 UD breaking up the group
2 Advance 4 UD as it must stay as a group
3 Advance 1-4 UD possibly breaking up the group
4 Or any combination of the above |

I think it's covered by p40. 3rd paragraph. They group charges as a group so rolls the variable as a group, but then the impetuous foot units go 4 MU, the non-impetuous units can stop at any point after 1 MU. _________________ www.madaxeman.com |

There is another possible option
After the evaders move away, the chargers throw an adjusted movement dice. If they throw ‘long’, the group of charging units could contact another enemy unit, in which case the entire group may stop, including the Impetuous units. See charge movement p36. |
