A quick glance at the results from this last weekend's tourney at the UK Games Expo shows that the Yuan Chinese won, but also had 3 places in the bottom ten, including last (Sorry Graeme   ), whilst there are 9 very different armies in the top 10 ( the 2 Ghaznavids being the exception).
I prefer to look at it from the other direction - there aren't any real dogs in the lists either..... |

ADLG is very much a rock-paper-scissors game. This is good and bad for obvious reasons. I will note, given that the game is rock-paper-scissors, this makes armies such as HYW French very powerful as they can effectively morph a rock into scissors if they are facing off against a paper.Â
The only reason Ghaznavids perform so well is due to the distinct lack of mass ranged armies. |
