Does the -1 for Uncontrolled Charge apply?
Does Panic apply to the opponents of Scythed Chariots also in contact with Camels/Elephants? [just checking]
Any chance of a slot in the FAQs?
|
Why wouldn't uncontrolled apply if it was uncontrolled?
Why wouldn't panic apply if the relevant camels and elephants were in contact?
I think this is highly likely to make the next FAQ |

I thought Hervé's post was meant to be definitive so asked the question. To answer your question - possibly because the concept of controlling Stampeding Cattle and Flaming Carts might be a bit uh oh.

Because Hervé said it didn't and I was just checking.
I should also have asked if panic applied to the Scythed Chariots on the basis that Flaming Carts have enough to panic about anyway.

Oh I hope so

You're right it does not. I missed that part of his post. |

So the only open question is that of uncontrolled charge.
I can see the answer going either way. Depending on how you view a normal scythed chariot would go. If it is a disorderly affair to begin with, then uncontrolled shouldn't be a factor. But, if this is an organized affair with the chariots being hub to hub and going in, then it would be a factor. _________________ Phil

I have modified the original post :
· Panic for Elephant and Camels do not apply as Scythed chariots represent suicide troops or already panicked herd
· If a Scythed chariot do an uncontrolled charge it has -1 in melee
This point will be added in the next FAQ |

So my Scythed Chariot charges the middle of 3 units in line.
For the first round, the 2 wing units do not provide support.
Can my missile troops shoot at the two wing units during my shooting phase? |

So based on El Kreator’s response, it looks like the English translation “has a combat factor of zero†should read “has a basic factor of zeroâ€.[/b] |
