Take some foot archers. They move three MUs and shoot 4 MUs with a +1 vs mounted. One in each command will mean enemy mounted moving with 7 MUs are going to suffer. Try to position LH behind them to stop an evade then charge your mounted in. Make sure you have Szeleker CV in each command so you have a chance of catching enemy CV evading when your knights charge. |

Hungarians have a LOT of options so one thing to consider when building the army is what is the character/doctrine you are building. It is easy to see all sorts of great things basically in four categories:
*Heavy Knights
*Heavy Infantry, possibly armored
*Light/Medium/Heavy Cavalry with Bow
*Excellent leadership
You can combine different elements of these and get a pretty good army. What you can't (well shouldn't) is take little penny packets from each and wind up with an army that doesn't work well together. |
