If a charge is declared by heavier troops against light troops which do not have a ZOC is it possible to angle the charge so as to cross the bases of more than one element, thus causing multiple elements to evade?

I appreciate that only LI in the open MUST evade and that a charge against a unit which does have a ZOC must be orientated to contact that one element, just wondered if the lack of a ZOC means you can charge away multiple elements

Yes. If theres no ZOC theres no restriction on the wheel t the start of the charge (upto 90 degrees).
