Not that I am playing this year, but I have never done the draw to the 'Colin method' in any competition I have run in the South West.

I always separate the players into major clubs and put them either side of the draw.

When people are travelling and staying overnight at their cost, you don't want them playing their regular opponents.

I can see many faults in the system being used, but as I am not playing, I will move away.

By the way I am using Ottoman Turks also

Let me make it absoulty clear I don't use any draw method that means players of the same club whether they're a major one or a minor one play each other in the first 2 - 3 rounds, effectively on the Saturday!

Also point out that no one has complained about the way I've run any events and the way I'm feeling at the moment it's unlikely they will as after Godendag I'm unlikely to run another

Your events are well run and happy times such that a broken arm didn't stop me missing out on last year.

I didn't get chance to thank you for running this so smoothly the other weekend - mostly because I ran away to catch the rail replacement bus service
