In a fit of outlandish innovation and the fact that it had finally started raining we celebrated by having a whirl at the urban bunnies adlg-r suggested renaissance rules. 30 years war Danes v Protestant Germans on a completely bare board so we could concentrate on the rules.
Using the the rules was easy and we had no dramas. It’s mostly about changing your thinking to be more like a 17th century psychopath. Hopefully here is a link to an after battle report......or a during battle report.......or something anyway. Hopefully it works.

Just to let you know, there is an updated version of the rules. Its been heavily updated following lots of play testing and feedback.
