The 14th Offensive d'hiver of the Grognards d’ Alsace, an ADLG tournament in 15mm / 200pts / 5 games will take place on Sat 1 and Sun 2 March 2025 in Lingolsheim near Strasbourg - FRANCE.

The Roman Empire rise from 105BC to 25BC
General data:

Fees: 40 euros (access + 2 breakfasts + 2 meals)
Maximum number of players: 32
Number of rounds: 5
Format: 1 single version in 200 pts (see special conditions) with a precise date.
Scale: 15 mm; all miniatures must be painted and based, representative of their troop type.

Tournament rules:
Pairings:
- first round: randomly;
- for other rounds : direct Swiss system if 32 players otherwise arranged (2.1);
- for the first four rounds no play between players from the same club;

Other points:
- Duration of games: 2 hours 30 minutes in 7 rounds minimum.
- The games stop when the referee calls on the defender's turn. He declares a Blitz ending if necessary to reach 7 turns.
- Terrains: Players must bring correct and representative terrain elements.
- Playing surface: The tables will be 120 x 80 cm.

- Deployment plans must be shown to the opponent at the end of the game. They will be checked by the referee. In the event of non-compliance, the referee will redeploy the units at the edge of the table in accordance with the plan unless this disadvantages the opponent.
- Players must count the turns.
- Dice must be provided by the organization
- In the event of an unintentional rule error, there is no going-back, except in simple cases concerning the current phase.

Special conditions:
rounds 1 to 3
During these three first rounds, the player with the army that is the least played on 20/10/2024 will choose a scenario among these ones:
- Vaillance des généraux
- Le contrôle du village
- La prise des bagages option 2
- Le contrôle de l'eau

if a scenario needs a specific terrain, the player that chose it, will set it on the table before the initative roll.

rounds 4 & 5
During these 2 last rounds, the player with the army that is the least played on 20/10/2024, will get ONE reroll par round. This reroll (only his die) may be used whenever he wants. This result is always kept even if it is worse.

If the 2 armies have the same number of plays, a die roll will determine who gets this advantage.

List selection:
38 lists have been chosen because all of them are availabale from 105 to 25 BC. (if any is forgotten, do not hesitate to call me).
Allied troops must be taken from these authorised lists, during this time frame.

Each list will be unique and in 200 points. The faction, the details of the troops and the name of the player are kindly requested.
Participants will send their list by February 23, 2025.
All played armies and a list of players will be released a few days before the tournament.
