Any individuals or groups in Hampshire (UK) looking for a game? I'm in Winchester. No car, but I'll travel by train & foot.
I started playing in May 2016, but have only played half-a-dozen games. I seem to be forgetting rules as fast as I learn them, so it would help to play more.
Regards, Roger |

Greetings
I am yet to buy the rules (may buy by post or wait till Warfare in Reading in 3 weeks time). I live in Farnham in Surrey which is not all that far from Winchester. I've got transport.

Hi
I got my rulebook at a shop in Central London called 'Orc's Nest'. I've been playing at Farnborough Wargames Society, on occasional Fridays. I knew some guys who played there & it's easy on the train from Winchester.
I'm hoping to get to Warfare. Apart from getting a few bits & bobs, I thought I'd look at the ADLG competition, to see how other people play.

Edward, my old DBM army (shows how long since I played Ancients!) is more than enough for a standard 200pt ADLG army. I'm currently expanding a DBA army for ADLG, which needs 2-3 times the troops.
Craig, Is there a club in Fareham?
I'm a member at Farnborough (FWGS, Fridays) & Basingstoke (Sad Muppets, Tuesdays), although I probably only play a couple of times a month.
I'm planning to go to Warfare on the Sunday, so we could meet up there to consider options.
See you, Roger |

Greetings
I think my best bet to get something on a table is adding to my two old DBA Polybian armies, or seeing what I have got in the late mediaeval collection.
I'll have a gander at the tables at Warfare.
Regards
